Store Conditions of Sale

The following conditions highlight our policy on unwanted goods. They do not apply to goods that are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described. They do not affect your statutory rights.

 

  1. Where indicated, garments/goods marked seconds should be inspected thoroughly before purchasing.
  2. Refunds cannot be given without a receipt or proof of purchase. Customers wishing to return goods must do so within 28 days. Items must be unused, in re-saleable condition and include original tags/labels attached.
  3. No refunds can be given on sale, clearance, or directory seconds items. Exchange or credit note only.
  4. For hygiene reasons, all undergarments, mattresses, earrings, and cosmetics cannot be returned.

 

Choice is authorised by Next to sell perfect merchandise from previous seasons, as well as seconds and manufacturers’ rejects, at prices that are often substantially lower than Next’s original selling price.

These are the terms and conditions that govern the relationship between you, the entrant and Choice Discount Stores, Rectory Rd, Hadleigh, Benfleet SS7 2ND. 

ELIGIBILITY

The competition is only open to residents in the UK. The following people are NOT eligible to enter the competition:

  • Employees of Choice, its respective subsidiaries and associated companies including the prize supplier if applicable
  • Immediate family members of Choice employees or members of their household

PROMOTION PERIOD

The promotion opens on 29th August 2025 and closes at 23:59 on 4th September 2025. Only entries received after the opening date and before the closing date will be included in the prize draw.

HOW TO ENTER

Entrants may enter via Facebook or Instagram on the giveaway post. Entrants must like the post, tag a friend, and follow the Choice account/page. There is no entry fee and no purchase required. Multiple entries are allowed per person.

SELECTION OF WINNER

The winner will be selected at random no later than 48 hours after the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted after two attempts within three business days of the decision date, we reserve the right to select an alternate winner. The name and home county of the winner will be available for one month after the winner is chosen.

PRIZE

There is ONE prize of a back-to-uni bundle:

  • Air fryer
  • Cushion
  • Bath sheet
  • Single duvet set
  • Reusable coffee cup

The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable. There is no cash alternative. The prize winner must collect their prize from their nearest Choice store.

GENERAL

By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (which may be amended or varied at any time by us with or without notice). All changes to the Terms and Conditions will be posted in revised terms and conditions on the website. Personal information collected from entrants will not be disclosed to any third party except for the purpose of fulfilling prizes where applicable or if the third party opt-in box is checked. By entering the competition you agree to the use of your name and home county in publicity relating to the winner of the competition. This giveaway/promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.
